We are pleased to announce a new collection of recent works by Gordon Keddie. These are now available at Drum Brae Studio.
Nine new paintings reflect a fusion of earlier techniques and new, fresh ideas, culminating in a colourful and dynamic collection, abstract, neo-expressionist and always searching for Caribbean undertones, even through worldly subjects.
The titles themselves add considerable intrigue to the images; ‘The Colony‘, ‘In the memory of elephants‘, ‘Nopales Caliente‘, a tribute to the Mexican Nopal cactus and a large urban image entitled ‘Today.we are.Our Father‘ with echoes of ’80s Jean-Michel Basquiat rendering.
