“‘Dark Fish Drying’ is part of the drip picture group. As I worked with the paint, I remembered seeing a large chopped fish on a beach in Bequia, surrounded by fishermen. With few customers that day and business slow, the fish had begun to dry out in the heat of the late afternoon sun. ”
